About Me

I'm sure you already know what my name is, considering its the same as my blog! I decided to make a blog because of my love for writing. I've had several blogs over the last few years, but I always walked away from them due to being too busy. I am a stay at home mom now, so I have all the time in the world! I plan on making blogging my full time job! I am turning 29 this year and even though when I was young and 30 seemed so old, I'm looking forward to those years because of how much I love my life that I was blessed with!

I grew up in San Diego, CA, but moved to Louisville, KY at 12 years old. Such a culture shock! I love both places with all my heart though! I recently moved to Mount Washington, KY with my daughter and fiance! It's a cute, little town that is currently filled with farms and growing subdivisions and businesses. We bought our house last year and completely renovated the inside! It's a completely different house now! My kitchen reno post and my bathroom reno post are linked if you'd like to check them out!

I wanted to make this blog all about my life, experiences, health and fitness journeys, and recipes and diy ideas. I have always expressed myself through my writing and I feel like I can reach people with my daily and recap blog posts!

I like to live life by praising Jesus and I start off every morning by watching the sunrise and reading a daily Bible verse. A lot of people tend to be put off by my posts about The Lord, but I don't let it bother me. :) I am just praising my Lord and Savior and that's all that matters to me!

I love cooking and baking and everything I make is from scratch. I would love to come out with a cookbook because I am obsessed with them!

Coffee is probably the greatest thing on Earth and I have to have a cup every morning! I sometimes drink coffee multiple times throughout the day and I'm sure people don't understand how I can! haha I actually got Daniel drinking coffee. He didn't touch it before we got together!

Speaking of Daniel, I love that man with all my being! We're planning our Fall wedding in September and I couldn't be more excited! We've known each other since we were 16 and have always had "crushes" on each other! He's the sweetest and he takes care of us and loves Leilani so much.

This is my blog and I know that opening myself up on the internet and social media can open up the gates to trolls and hateful comments, but I will try my hardest not to let them get to me or let them change who I am or the content that I believe in when I post.
